Quadruple your donation

The EU have agreed to support more of CARE’s projects this year - which is terrific - giving an extra £3 for every £1 we raise. That will make it possible to fund a whole series of projects that would otherwise be beyond our means.

To make the most of the EU offer, and qualify for the maximum funds available, we need to raise a total of £1.3 million ourselves – and do it quickly. If we fail to raise this, it will be a lost opportunity of heartbreaking proportions.

This extra money will go towards helping those who need it the most. For example, it could help to improve the lives of people in Zambia who are struggling with great hardship. In Zambia’s densely populated cities, people are forced to live with inadequate water supplies and poor sanitation facilities. As a result, disease is rife – and one of the foremost reasons why one in ten children born in Zambia will not live to see their first birthday. That’s why CARE is working with local organisations to give 300,000 of the poorest households access to clean water and proper sanitation. But we need your help. With your gift today, we can give people living in poverty a chance.

Better still, through this scheme a donation of £25 will become £100, and if we can claim Gift Aid on your donation, that £100 will become £107 – enough to make a real difference to the lives of families living in poverty.
